I am in a real blogging mood today! It could be due to the fact that Honour has been down for a 90 minute nap already and even if he was awake the roads are not nice enough for us to go for a drive. So, here I sit, in our brand new home, remembering the graceful snowfall that we all awoke to.
I am at peace, thankful and nostalgic as the snow continues to float down in huge flakes. Life is absolutely flying by but we are trying to relish every fleeting moment of it.
Honour is 8 months this week…8 months! He is sitting, kneeling, army crawling, pulling himself to standing and growling, yes growling, at everything he finds amusing. He makes us laugh daily with his chatting and expressions and I adore his brave soul as four teeth push their way through his angry inflamed gums.
As some of you know Ben and I moved this weekend! Thank you to all those who helped us with painting, lifting, packing, unpacking, hauling, fixing and cleaning…and of course helping with Honour so I could occasionally have two hands free! Sitting here quietly in our freshly painting living room gives me a feeling of home. We have only been here a day but our hearts are here together and therefore I am content and already settled in my spirit. There may be boxes of odds and ends, bags of clothes and cooking supplies still at the old apartment but it is already perfect.
I want to end this blog before my babe awakens so that I can quickly make a tea, but here are a few of the lastest photos of our family :)…mainly Honour of course!
