We are officially five days into December and Ben has not touched his advent calendar. I can understand as our weekend has been insane but come on, it makes it so tempting for me. I admit, I ate one of his. Dec 1, but I am a pregnant lady craving chocolate and my little sister helped devour my only bar of Cadburys last time she came to visit.
As I mentioned earlier, this weekend. Whew, actually the past three weekends have kept us up and running from 6 to 6 everyday shooting a music video. I cannot wait to share it with you and hopefully shortly it will be finalized and ready for your eyes. I must say it was quite a challenge with over 30 people involved, pumping water out of our band pit as it had flooded between shoots, stomping through mud and 0 degree weather but praise the Lord the filming is over and it shall be epic! Please pray for Ben though as the full work weeks and long weekends playing in the chilly rain has brought him down with quite the chest infection. Both his sister, her husband and their child has the same bug so I am praying for his energy to return and health to rise.
Oh, Mum and I went maternity clothes shopping this week and boy does it feel good to wear a pair of jeans that do not cut into your bump or leave you feeling like an overfilled cupcake pan. I can understand why sweats become the most wonderful things in your closet and I am thankful that over the years of doing sports I have collected quite a range of stretchy pants :).
Once again I am listening to Christmas music, Michael W Smith this time (a family favourite) and have my precious Bella fast asleep on my lap, making it quite the stretch to reach the keyboard. This week, the tree and finalize all decorations! 🙂
I am thankful this Christmas for the joy of new life and the anticipation of Ben and I sharing our next Christmas with a 6 month old!
