Ok, so in continuation of the previous post…I adored Julie & Julia. I had no idea it was about a blogging young lady who takes a year to conquer and write about every recipe in ‘Julia Childs: Mastering the Art of French Cooking”…I believe it was 524 recipes in 365 days. The honesty about their lives was beautiful, as was their growing passion for food that they shared over a 40 year separation. The relatable material was in abundance and I even caught Ben peering at the tv screen from his music writing setup, pulling a headphone off one ear to get a better listen. 🙂
Julie’s emotional break downs, her husband requesting their most recent tiffs to not be published online along Julia’s go-gettem, fully optimistic, passionate learning of cooking wrapped themselves into a delicious dish of sympathizing giggles (and a few tears of understanding).
The title says it all. Mum, watch this please, I know you will enjoy. Dad may even get a kick out of it too, Ben did.
Tonight is a worship night held for the college and careers at MB Fellowship. I am anticipating the evening with a smile and just need to fill my hungry belly before departing. I’d prefer the singing to be from my lips rather then my impolite abdomen.
