As I ponder what to blog about today I noticed my most prominent feeling. Tiredness. I am worn out. Yesterday was truly a day an a half, with an early morning and late night (as in 4am).
The Kitchener BENBORI show was a smash, as it always is playing rock music and ministering. Everyone did a stellar job and it is so encouraging to see everyone committed to a common goal, love it! As many of my previous posts have displayed I adore passion. Seeing people excited for something and working towards their dreams is such a rewarding experience just to behold. This is one of the sides of our band that I anticipate seeing at practices and shows, their passion.
Prayers still going out to Justin who is scheduled for surgery today, can’t wait to hear the success story!
My parents are joyfully looking forward to the visit of my Uncle Nick, his wife Sabine and their two children Lola and Nathaniel. They had set up my old room as their bedroom and when I entered to see what they had done with the room my eyes immediately fell on my old beloved stuffed animals. What a comfort those were as a child, cuddling them up before bed, naming them all as your children when you played house and telling them your secret feelings after not getting your way with Mum and Dad. I celebrate my childhood, my family and the future family we will have.
Tomorrow is Father’s Day! Give Dad a hug he deserves, or doesn’t. Either way he is your father and the Lord will honour you for honouring him. I can’t wait to hug mine!
