What a day! An incredible church service this morning, a bike ride around Colchester, a game of intense frisbee soccer which Ben proudly won haha and an invite to Mum and Dad’s.
The clouds rolled in around dinner time tonight along with tornado watches and power outages. Ben and I spent the evening at my folk’s home so we could be entertained with their recent California coastal trip snapshots. We ate dinner by candle light due to the lightning striking the transformer just across the road but were regaled with electricity in time for Dad’s slide show. Their trip seemed amazing, very relaxing as they did not pre-book any hotels or events. They came and went as they pleased, enjoying the scenery and local attractions at their leisure. Glad you guys had an ‘absolutely’ fab time. 🙂
Today I am thankful for my health, my ability to earn a living, a loving husband who respects the woman I am, a family who desires to spend time with me, a cat who snuggles, and mostly for forgiveness, grace, mercy, and the love of Jesus.
Not feeling very grateful for the small things? Watch the documentary “My Flesh and Blood” and see how extremely blessed you are to be alive, to be able to bathe, dress, breath, sleep and walk without pain…or to be able to walk at all.
I am thankful I can play frisbee with my husband.
